Praying with Bread
Rescheduled - now December 14th, 9 AM to 1 PM - with Bryce & Jody Johnson
There is a God given rhythm to life which must be honored. It is like bread making, which has a rhythm of work and rest. It is at the heart of our spiritual lives, action and solitude. This is a hands-on bread making class interspersed with time for the Spirit to rise within through contemplative prayer.
Where: Christos Center for Spiritual Formation, 1212 Holly Drive, Lino Lakes, MN 55038
Holiday Breads Class
Sunday, December 15th - with Bryce Johnson & Ross Safford
2:00 - 5:00 PM at White Bear Lake United Methodist Church, 1851 Birch Street, White Bear Lake, MN 55115
You’ll be ready for entertaining with some delicious breads. We’ll make several varieties using Challah dough: breadsticks, braided, and a cinnamon raisin loaf, plus Pain d’Epices. You’ll take home multiple loaves of bread, plus some dough to bake at home, and will bake in the church’s wood-fired oven.
